Granny’s doughnuts

Another winner recipe for doughnuts !! Just follow the recipe as directed and you’ll have the best doughnuts you’ve ever tasted !!! Seriousely, there is nothing is tastier than this prepared from the grandma, just try it out !! These doughnuts are nothing short of amazing, I can’t wait to make them again and again !!

YOU’LL NEED :

– White flour: 2 and a half cups, about 300 grams (sifted)

– Salt: 1 tsp

– Baking powder: 1 tsp

– Sugar: 1/4 cup, about 50 grams

– Milk: 1 large cup, about 240 ml

– Instant yeast: 1 small spoon

– egg: 1 (large)

– vanilla: 1 tsp

– Margarine: 3 tablespoons, about 30 g

– Frying oil

* The same large cup needs to be used to prepare the ingredients.

INSTRUCTIONS :

1. In the beginning, pick the mixer bowl and put into the flour, instant yeast, salt, baking powder, sugar, egg, vanilla, ghee and milk. Make sure to install the dough hook on the mixture on medium speed until you get a cohesive and smooth dough.

2. You can then collect the dough from the mixer until it becomes one piece.

3. A short time later, prepare a plate and spread it with a little oil, put the dough on it and brush it with a little oil.

4. Use a nylon bag to cover the dough and leave it at room temperature until it ferments and doubles in size, it takes around 1 hour.

5. The next step is to sprinkle some flour on a smooth surface. And please spread the dough on it using the rolling pin until its thickness is medium. Don’t worry if you notice that it is fragile and does not tighten while spreading.

6. Personnally, I like to cut mine into circles with circular sectors. You’ll want to cut small circles inside the large circles until their shape becomes donuts.

7. Okay now prepare a new plate and sprinkle a little flour on it. Immediately put the circular dough pieces on it.

8. Use a nylon bag to cover the plate for approx 15 minutes at room temperature.

9. You can put a frying pan in it with oil on medium heat, until hot, at this stage.

10. Always remember that the donut dough should be put in the oil calmly and without pressing it. Use a fork to flip it, leaving until it becomes golden in color.
